Reiki Lineage & Accreditation

Reiki Lineage:

I was atunned as a Reiki Master Practitioner in Usui Shiki Ryoho in September 2014 by Christine Lenferne now Wylie. My lineage leads back to Usui Sensei. A copy of my lineage is available on request.

Reiki Accreditation : A lot of Reiki Masters suggest that their courses are accredited with a Reiki body or in some cases with a governmental skills standards body. Reiki is NOT a skills based practise it is a Lineage based practise. Reiki is not developed by practise like for example massage is. In order to have the ability to channel Reiki you need an attunement from a Master who was attunned into the Lineage of Mikao Usui the founder of Reiki. Practising Reiki serves to strengthen your bond with Reiki but Reiki is gifted to a Candidate via the atunnement for each level. To quote John Harvey Gray (one of the original Reiki Masters of Western Reiki who trained with Takata Sensei (who brought Reiki to the West) "Reiki is passed hand to hand from one living person to another. Lineage is the hand to hand transmission of Reiki energy from Usui Sensei to his students, from these Masters to their students and from your Reiki Master to you." This statement clearly indicates that Reiki Is lineage not skills based. However it is critical to be attuned by a Master who has credible Lineage. For the student to advance it is essential to become familiar with Reiki by utilizing it, understanding its techniques and through personal self development and spiritual progression.

Reiki I Foundation Training

Introduces students to the philosophy, history and practice of Reiki as a healing modality. Focus of the course is on self healing, awakening energy awareness and hands on techniques. Students receive their first Reiki Atunnement. The outline for Level 1 is as follows:

Reiki IIIB (Master Practitioner / Shinpedin - Mystery Teachings

Prerequisites : Reiki I, II and IIIA Course. Candidate need to have been actively using Reiki for six months.

Two training options:

Weekend Immersion - (2 and a half days) {arrive Friday lunch time depart Monday mid morning}.

On site training at a retreat venue which provides a deeply healing and spiritual training experience.

Four Day Once a Week Training

We provide this for persons with family and work commitments who cannot take 3 days away. The content is identical to the immersion weekend.

My Reiki Master Training Experience & Thoughts

Reiki IV Reiki Master Teacher

Not everyone wants to teach Reiki to others however for those who do this level will assist them to prepare to move forward and establish a teaching practise.

Prerequisites: Reiki Master i.e Level IIIB either with myself or with another Master in the Usui ir Usui Tibetan Lineage. Be comfortable in passing the Healing Attunement, Cord cutting and Psychic Surgery. Candidates need to have been running a Reiki practise and treating clients for a minimum of 18 months after graduating as a Reiki Master Practitioner.

The training consists of a six month mentoring program. On this level the attunement process for all four levels of Reiki are taught and the candidate will be given opportunities t provide attunements to others The candidate will be required to attend at least one section of the training course for Reiki I, II and IIIA during which they will be provided with an opportunity to practise presenting some of the materials from these levels. The candidate will be required to provide twelve case studies for this level and will be need to demonstrate the attunement process for all the levels of Reiki. This level will include further self-development training and guidance in the structuring of classes and creation of manuals.
